Трифонов Сергей Петрович

Baritone. Performer of playing the Vladimir horn (basso, alto), zhaleika, panpipe, Chinese bagpipes, herbal pipe.

Sergey Trifonov was born into a family of musicians. He is a hereditary horn player, his father played in the first line-up of the "Vladimir Horn Players" ensemble. It is not surprising that from childhood Sergey began to develop an interest in an unusual, unique musical instrument, which gradually grew into a profession.

During his studies at the Vladimir Music College, he took part in concerts of the ensemble "Vladimir Horn Players", and after graduation was admitted to the main team.  He successfully graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music with a degree in "Folk Choir Conducting".  

Sergey Trifonov took part in competitions among art workers of a high level of skill – the International Delphic Games. He is an expert at the forum of young workers of culture and art "Tavrida". He teaches at the Vladimir Regional College of Music named after A.P. Borodin.
